MREP Mediation Costs & Results

MREP has mediated over 3,600 grievances, resolving 86% without resort to arbitration. The average cost of mediation in 2008 was approximately $600 per case, $300 per party. The comparable costs for arbitration were approximately $4,200 per case, and $2,100 per party.
