MREP Mediation Costs & Results

MREP has mediated over 3,600 grievances, resolving 86% without resort to arbitration. The average cost of mediation in 2009-2010 was approximately $524 per case, $262 per party. The comparable costs for arbitration were approximately $4,470 per case, and $2,235 per party.
